Overview
This half-day tour begins with a warm welcome from the owner of Gato Preto de Silves, featuring fresh coffee, organic orange juice, homemade jams, and local pastries—starting the day in the sweetest way possible. After this, guests will hop on comfortable e-bikes and cycle through charming white-washed villages and the stunning landscapes of the “Barrocal,” the inland Algarve. Along the route, we’ll stop at a local artisanal fig factory, where guests can see how traditional Algarvian sweets made from dried figs, almonds, and carobs are crafted, and enjoy a tasting.The journey continues to a local bakery, where guests will learn first-hand how the famous “Bread with Chouriço” is prepared in a traditional wood-fired oven. Everyone will take home the freshest bread of the day, perfect for our upcoming lunch. Once everything is packed, we’ll head to a panoramic viewpoint to enjoy breathtaking views over the valley and rolling hills of Silves . On the return, we’ll uncover the hidden beauty of a serene lake. To cap off this memorable day, we’ll gather under a pergola of Bougainvillea to enjoy a mouth-watering Algarvian lunch and we'll toast with chilled drinks and local liquors.
