Never Ending Summer

The following terms apply to retreats (multi-day tours) booked on our platform or through affiliate partners:  Deposit of 20% is not refundable  Final balance is due within 60 days before retreat's start

Yes, we do allow to pay in 6 monthly instalments, with the first one being 500€ non refundable. The remaining 5 payments will be deducted from your credit card at the end of each month until completion of the balance due.

The retreat officially starts at 3 p.m. on Thursday 5th October, but you can request to arrive earlier by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

If you want to reserve lunch, you can add it as a request in the e-mail; this will give you more time to relax for the rest of the afternoon. Or you can take a walk to Silves and visit the town while waiting for check-in.

The Gato Preto de Silves is a 45-minute drive from Faro Airport. Among the extras available at the time of booking, you can add the transfer from Faro to the B&B and also the return, if you need it.

Of course! You may decide to book additional nights before or after the end of the retreat to explore the surroundings or do some extra activities. We would be happy to book you a wine tasting, a massage, or just some free time to read or relax, etc.) When you book your retreat, you can add an extra night by selecting the appropriate option that appears in the extras! We are sorry that you have to leave early! But, if you need to, you can leave from Faro airport as early as Sunday evening. The last day of the retreat includes a boat trip to the islands of Ria Formosa, which is less than 20 km from Faro airport. Once the trip is over, around 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., you can leave the group, without returning to the B&B, making sure that you have brought your luggage with you since the morning.

You can take a connecting flight to Faro, which is only an hour or so from Lisbon. Alternatively, you can travel by train by buying the ticket on: https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/en">https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/en.

If you travel by 'Alfa-pendular' (that is national high-speed train line connecting the main Portuguese cities), it will take around 2 hours to get to Tunes, the nearest railway station to Silves.

The weather is normally very sunny and the temperatures are less intense than the summer and the probability that it rains are very low, so the period is ideal for outdoor activities. During the day and night it's normal to have temperature gaps; it happens to be 25ºC ( 77º F) during the day and around 10º C (50º F) at night.

We recommend traveling with light luggage, bringing with you only essential and casual clothing: some T-shirts, garments that wash and dry quickly, a pair of shorts, a pair of trousers and comfortable hiking shoes (those that require ankles), a windbreaker, a heavier sweater for the evening. You don't need formal garments and high heels, but you can only bring a change with less casual clothes. And of course, bath suit and flip-flops for the beach!

At Gato Preto de Silves there is an excellent 5G (fiber optic network) in every cabin and on each private terrace, in the pool and in the common areas. If you want to have internet throughout your stay, you do not need to equip yourself with a Portuguese sim card, simply download the 'Airolo' APP and you can buy mobile data on your mobile phone for the period you need, without having to insert any sim card in the phone.
