Overview

Known in Portugal as "Marmelo", it gave its name to the famous marmelade. With quinces, both the Greeks and Romans created perfumes and even hair dyes. Quinces have a very characteristic strong smell and because they are very rich in pectin, they lend themselves to making gelatine and marmalade after cooking, when grated and mixed with sugar. Together with the chef we will create a delicious Quince jelly and jam to take home!
